  • We first of all want to say to Bonnie thank you for making us welcome. We had a wonderful vacation and everything was like the pictures on the website. Nice cottage and village. Thank you for giving us a really nice vacation. Lots of love. VS family, The Netherlands, Aug 2024
  • We had an amazing week at this beautiful and charming cottage. We enjoyed a long walk to Hook Norton and other villages as well as a trip to Oxford. Our children loved the Children’s Farm at Wiggington, where they could hold baby rabbits and guinea pigs. Thank you for this wonderful holiday! H family, Cologne, Germany, July 2024
  • This cottage is so special; we have had a wonderful time. Coming back here after our wee trips – it just continues to amaze us. Beautiful. We did a fair bit of exploring too. Cotswold alpacas – a chance to walk them. Our big boys loved it. The nearby Green Dragon Inn was a great place for lunch. The lavender was almost fully blooming at Cotswold Lavender, we loved the spectacle of it all. We ventured to Whichford Pottery. Fabulous and a delightful café with locally sourced produce, really good home bakes. It’s called the Straw Café and it’s nestled next to the pottery shop and kiln areas. The pots are GORGEOUS and to see the team working and keeping the skills alive – for sure a place to visit. We managed dinners and the Euro play-offs at the Falkland Arms, Great Tew – brilliant pub! The Boxing Hare nearby is a solid place for supper. Burford had some nice shops including the massive Garden Centre on the outskirts. Thank you Bonnie for such a warm welcome, thank you Sheila for sharing your cottage. We really hope to return! D family, Scotland, July 2024

Sitting out in garden glorious, despite inclement weather. Lovely walks, lovely wild flowers, lovely village children who gave us free lemonade! Hope to come back. • Bird sightings in the gardens and around! Goldfinch, great tits, wood pigeons, swift, blackbird, lesser spotted Clarkson, wren, robin, tawny owl, chaffinch. NB the church bell rings 2 minutes early! Bonnie was a delightful host on our arrival and our stay here was dreamy. However, our visitors' books go back to 2006 - if you'd like to see more, please contact us! We have photos of every page.

Some 2011 visitors from the USA created a blog. Unfortunately the blog is no longer live on line, but we've kept a copy of of it which you can look at here - especially of their cream teas in the garden.

Their posts perfectly summarised life at Blue Row.

It was a perfect English idyll in this perfect English cottage. We have enjoyed our month here and hate to leave. We love the pheasant that comes to the back garden for breakfast and sometimes dinner. The church bells helped us keep track of time, the mooing of the cows and the baaing of the sheep lulled us to sleep. Tea in the garden on the warm sunny days was the perfect way to end the day before we thought of dinner and the telly. Staying here was a dream come true and we both felt immediately at home at Blue Row. (Mr and Mrs S, June 4th 2011, Fort Scott, Texas)
